The characters from Luzzati's Nativity are animated using a digital process which mirrors the traditional cut-out animation used in such masterpieces as Luzzati’s and Gianini's The Magic Flute and Pulcinella.

There is no narration; the story is expressed through the characters' moves and the original music score composed especially for each episode by Lorenzo Marini, who collaborated closely with story-board and animation production.
Emanuele Luzzati gave his approval, and even offered useful suggestions.

The new app "The Advent Days", developed in collaboration with Rai and RCS - Corriere della Sera, is available on the App Store.
